Srinagar, Aug 17 (KNS): Incarcerated chief of Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) Shabir Shah has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing away of his companion and friend, Riyaz Ahmad Dar in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir.
In his condolence message from Tihar jail, Delhi Shabir Shah has said that he was shocked to know about the demise of Riyaz Ahmad Dar.
He said that Riyaz Dar from Azad Kashmir, was an enthusiastic freedom lover. Shabir Shah remembered the long days he had spent with Riyaz Dar in different jails.
Shabir Shah said that Riyaz Dar was a small boy when he was arrested in Kashmir along with his associate Abdul Hamid Bhat. Shabir Shah said that he has spent a long time with the two in different jails and found them passionate freedom loving persons. He added that he had a good friendly relation with Riyaz Dar and his demise is his personal loss.
Meanwhile, JKDFP has paid rich tributes to Riyaz Dar, a long time friend and associate of its jailed chairman, Shabir Shah. The party spokesperson said that Shabir Shah always used to name Riyaz Dar eagerly. The spokesperson prayed for the departed soul who passed away due to a heart attack some days back. (KNS)
