Karnah Aug 03 (KNS): In its continued drive against drug menace, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Saturday conducted a raid at the house of Zafar Ali, son of Fatah Ali of Prada near line of control LOC in Karnah north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday late afternoon and seized consignment of 4.272 kilograms of brown sugar.

Station House officer (SHO) Waseem Ahmad while confirming the recovery said said “On the basis of specific intelligence, DRI officers along with Karnah police raided the residential house of Zafar Ali at Prada Karnah near LOC and recovered five packets of 4.272 Kg of brown sugar.”

He said the accused has been arrested in this regard while as further investigation is going on. (KNS)
