Baramulla, Sep 21 (KNS): Mother of the District Information Officer Bandipora,Jehangir Ahamad Akhoon has passed away this morning.
Family sources told KNS that she had been taken to SMHS hospital for a follow up treatment Thursday evening where she died at 4 am this morning.
The dead body has been brought to her native town Kreeri in District Baramulla where her funeral would take place late in the morning.
Many social, religious, and Journalist bodies have condoled the sad demise and have expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
KNS and The Kashmir Clarion has also expressed deep anguish and conveyed its condolences to Mr. Akhoon and his family. (KNS)
