Says ‘community participation must for delivery care system’

Srinagar, Nov 06 (KNS): In order to augment rural area health care delivery services, Dr.Kunzes Dolma, Director Health Services Kashmir, today had an extensive tour of district Kulgam. While on way she had surprise visit of PHC Khonmoh and PHC Pantha Chowk Health Centres.
It was observed that all the staff was present and cleanliness of the hospitals was maintained. She stressed for dress code in order to enable the public at large and patients in particular to identify the health care personnel at various levels as per the standing instructions.
She also had a surprise visit of various health institutions on way to Kulgam. DHSK visited District Hospital Kulgam too. While taking round of the sections it was observed that every section was functional and cleanliness of the hospital too was maintained. She laid stress for the dress code maintenance while interacting with the staff of the said hospital.
During the interaction with the delegations of the areas, she also insisted on the community participation that ultimately serves the purpose to reach out with honest gestures of dedication thereby admitting the responsibilities on both sides for better delivery care system. The public delegations hailed the administrative capabilities of Dr.Kunzes Dolma with the hope that health care delivery services shall be upgraded too during her tenure as director.
While interacting with the patients and their attendants, it was observed that they were satisfied with the services being provided at District Hospital Kulgam. She was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer Kulgam Dr.Fazil Kochak and Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kulgam Dr.G.M.Bhat. (KNS)
