Journalists, lawyers, volunteers participate

 Srinagar, Feb 10 (KNS): Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) Saturday organized a blood donation camp in the District Hospital Baramulla in which a large number of volunteers participated.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo, Medical Superintendent Dr. Syed Masood and various other concerned officials of health department were present on the occasion.
Blood bank incharge Dr Reyaz Ahmad War informed to KNS that as many as 55 volunteers including students, media persons, staff members, MC employee and various other prominent persons donated their blood.
Speaking on the occasion, the CMO highlighted the significance of organizing the camp and said that the department will organize such camps in future as it proves very helpful to the needy. Medical Superintendent Dr Masood also deliberated upon service of mankind and appreciated the volunteers participated in the camp.
"We are highly grateful to all donors who donated blood including journalists and advocates," said Dr.Syed Masood. The donors urged to organize more such camps in the future. (KNS)
