Coordination and collective efforts key to achieve desired results: DGP

Jammu, Dec 26 (KNS): Continuing his outreach visits to different districts, the Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh, today interacted with the officers and Jawans of Police, CRPF, SSB and ITBP, at Ganderbal where, he had lunch with them and also participated in cultural programme.
The DGP accompanied by IGP Kashmir, S.P Pani, and DIG Central Kashmir Range, Vidhi Kumar Birdi was received by SSP, Ganderbal Khalil Poswal and was presented guard of honour on his arrival at District police office Ganderbal.
While interacting with the personnel, the Director General of Police said that he is happy to be with officers and personnel of different forces on ground and interacted with the officers and jawans of Police, CRPF, Army, SSB and ITBP. He said that all the security forces have only one mission and that is the mission of achieving peace and added that continued coordination and collective efforts are required for achieving the desired results. The DGP lauded the determined role of J&K Police and other CAPF personnel in maintaining peace and order of the area.
Singh said that J&K Police along with other security forces have been following the mission of achieving peace in Jammu and Kashmir with lot of sacrifices but we need to be more focused and determined so that long lasting peace is achieved for the people here.
The DGP said that Jammu and Kashmir Police is having excellent synergy with all the security forces on ground and this coordination has resulted in good results. He said that our collective work and conduct is being appreciated across the country. All forces are being praised for handling different situations effectively and professionally, which is a proud moment of all of us. He said that by the dint of our hard work and dedication the graph of the achievements of the J&K Police and other security forces will go further up.
The DGP said that J&K Police along with all forces has always stood for the people and has safeguarded the lives and the property of the people. He reiterated that we need to continue our good work to ensure peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir.
The DGP said that yesterday he had a review meeting with all District Police officers of Kashmir valley during which all the important issues were discussed and necessary orders were issued to ensure the peace and order in Jammu and Kashmir.
After the Darbar a Bada Khana was also organized in which the DGP had lunch with the Jawans of J&K Police and CAFP. On the occasion a musical concert was also organized in which the DGP and other officers also participated.
The SSP Ganderbal apprised the DGP regarding the measures taken to ensure the safety and security of the people and said that the district will continue to work with professionalism for the service of people. The officers who were present during the interaction included Anil Diyani CO 118 Bn CRPF, Surinder Pawar, CO Adhoc Bn ITBP, Alok Bushan, CO Adhoc Bn. BSF, Sh. Shanker Singh, CO Adhoc Bn. SSB, Sh. Abdul Latief 2 I/c 115 Bn CRPF, Dr. Zubber Alam CMO ITBP, Fayaz Ahmed Addl. SP Ganderbal and other personnels of all forces deployed in the district.
Earlier, the DGP Sh. Dilbag Singh visited Gulmarg area of Baramulla District and inspected an under construct police building there. (KNS)
