Jammu, Feb 17 (KNS): Director General of Police, Dr. SP Vaid has condoled the death of Sg. Constable Mohammad Maqbool Wani son of Ghulam Nabi Wani No. EXK-983247 and SPO Nazir Ahmad son of Shri. Ahad ullah No. 656/SPO.
These police personnel were injured in two different road accidents at Sopore and Udhampur respectively yesterday and later on succumbed to their injuries. A wreath laying ceremony was held at DPL Udhampur for SPO Nazir Ahmad yesterday, in which senior police officers paid floral tributes to the departed colleague.
DGP has also condoled the demise of father of Inspector (M) Shams-ud-din, SO (Welfare PHQ) who passed away on Friday and has prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. (KNS)
