Srinagar, May 23 (KNS): Director General of Police, J&K Dilbag Singh and other cadres of Jammu and Kashmir Police have condoled the death of Mohammed Shafi Wani IPS IGP (Retd.). Wani expired at Sudan Heart Care Centre, Karanbagh Satwari, Jammu today morning.

In his condolence message, the DGP has said that the departed officer was known in the department for his qualities of head and heart.

He said that his services will be long remembered in the department. The DGP has expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family.

Mohammed Shafi Wani retired from Jammu and Kashmir Police in 2002. His last posting in the Department was IGP Traffic, J&K. (KNS)
