Srinagar, May 22 (KNS): V. K. Singh-IPS Director General Fire & Emergency Services, J&K on Wednesday inspected the Fire & Emergency Stations Hqrs Anantnag, Bijbehera, Qazigund and Command Office Anantnag.

He interacted with the staff and issued a number of on-spot directions to the concerned officers in connection with forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2019 for quick response to ensure the Fire Service motto “We Serve to Save”. The officers briefed the Director General regarding preparations to deal with Fire and other emergencies.

He appreciated the dedication and devotion of team Fire Services in the discharge of duties. He was accompanied by Bashir Ahmad Shah Deputy Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Command Anantnag during the inspection. (KNS)
