Srinagar, Nov 27 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Freedom Party has strongly condemned the injuring of 11th class student, Zahid Ahmad in Nawakadal area of Srinagar by pellets fired by forces.
The party in a statement issued to KNS, condemned forces for their brute behavior and said that men in uniform have been given a free hand to kill and maim Kashmiri youth. Expressing concern over the injuring of Zahid Ahmad the party termed it a beastly act. Expressing concern over the overall human rights situation in Kashmir the party said that injuring an unarmed student is the latest low. The party prayed for the speedy recovery of injured Zahid.
Meanwhile, the party paid rich and glowing tributes to late Khawaja Sona ullah Bhat and late Sufi Gh Mohammad on their death anniversaries. The party said in a statement that said late journalists have contributed immensely in their profession and will be remembered for times to come. The party hailed the contribution of late Khawaja Sona ullah Bhat and late Sufi Gh Mohammad on social and journalistic fronts. (KNS)
