DDC Kishtwar holds public outreach program at Palmar

 KISHTWAR, Jan 23 (KNS):: District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana today convened a public grievances redressal camp at Palmar and listened to public issues at their door steps.

 
Block Development Council Chairman, Palmar Lalita Devi, Joint Director Planning, Mohd Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch, ALC Kishtwar, Anoop Kumar, DSWO, Tariq Parvez, Tehsildar Kishtwar, CMO Kishtwar Dr. Ravinder Manhas, CAHO Kishtwar Dr Sanjay Sen, Executive Engineer PDD Kishtwar , Executive Engineer PWD Division Marwah  besides  others officers accompanied the DDC during grievances redressal camp.
 
BDC Chairman raised issue of Paribag-I Water Supply Scheme, water shortage in the area, laying of pipes, compensation of various roads of R&B Department, restoration of Kulna road, staff shortage especially Lecturers in HSS Palmar, construction of HSS Palmar Building, functioning of JNV School, irregular power supply, encroachment of state land and pending material payments under MGNREGA of the year 2017-18 & 2018-19.
 
During the interactions, various Sarpanchs, Panchs and scores of people of the area also raised their demands regarding rationalization of panchayat and revenue units, Govt Degree College for Palmar, construction of play grounds in Panchayats, formulation of GPDP plan, shortage of Doctor in Razna Health Centre, lack of transport facilities and communication facilities among other welfare and developmental issues  of their respective areas.
 
DDC informed that 7th, 14th, 21th & 28th of a month have been designated as dates for mutation camps in all the tehsils of district Kishtwar and asked them to visit these camps on the designated days for the redressal of their grievances. He further informed that Monday and Wednesday have been designated as camp day for all Patwaris during which they will remain stationed in their respective Niabats and will address the issues of the public.
 
DDC informed that Rs. 84 crore has been allotted for languishing schemes in the District and all the stalled WSS Schemes placed under it will be completed soon.
 
For doubling the farmer income by 2022, the DDC asked farmers to use poly houses for nursery development in field of agriculture, horticulture and floriculture. He issued on spot directions to the concerned officers for early redressal of the public grievances besides Block Development Chairperson was asked to monitor all the developmental works and check the punctuality of employees posted in block Palmar.
