Srinagar, Apr 17 (KNS): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Anshul Garg Wednesday held Awami Darbar at Handwara in which Executive Engineer PHE Najeeb Trumboo and other officers were also present.

DC Kupwara thanked people for their participation in the Darbar.

The DC promised that attendance of employees in the government departments will be ensured so that the people will not suffer.

About winter vacation fee being taken in the schools, a committee headed by ADC was constituted who will visit schools soon, assuring participants that court orders will be implemented.

People raised several issues including education, health, PDD, PHE, R&B and also Nallah Mawer. They told DC that Sand and Bajri mafia who are looting the Nalla from Kuhroo to Qalamabad was giving sleepless nights to the people.

Meanwhile, DC assured that all the demands of people will be fulfilled soon.

Moreover, Traders Federation Handwara Aijaz Ahmad Sofi, President Auqaf Ghulam Rasool Banday, Social activist and Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent Javid Zargar, Masroor Ahmad Banday and others highlighted the issues pertaining to their respective areas. (KNS)
