During the meeting, Deputy CMO Dr. Mohd Fareed Butt gave a detail presentation regarding the preventive measures/steps taken to prevent the affect of Corona virus and the measures taken by the health department to tackle the cases if any in the district.

 

He further apprised the DC that a control room has been established at District Headquarter besides that a rapid response team has been already constituted and isolation ward has been established at District Hospital.

 

DC calls for generating mass awareness regarding the novel corona virus among common masses besides directed health and Asha workers to sensitize the PRIs regarding symptoms of the virus and precautions to be taken to prevent the outbreak of the disease.

 

Among others, senior officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting  (KNS).
