Tangmarg, May 27 (KNS);Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla G N Itoo on Wednesday chaired meetings with other administrative officials in Tangmarg in wake increasing number of Covid-19 caes in the district.

According to Kashmr News Service (KNS), the meeting was attended by SSP Baramulla Abdul Qayoom, SDM Gulmarg, officials of Health Department and other concerned departments who discussed the measures threadbare taken by administration to contain Corona virus.

The meeting also discussed the emergence of new cases of Corna virus in Tangmarg and adjoining areas. At the occasion
the need for taking samples in bulk was also deliberated upon.

Officials apprised DC Baramulla that after a local woman tested positive, the movement of patients and attendants have been curtailed widely. They also said that due to established of quarantine centres and isolation wards for Covid-19 patients and suspects, authorities relocated general patients to another installations. (KNS)
