"Patient care severely dented due to strike"

Srinagar, Jan 13 (KNS): President Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Dr Suhail Naik stated serious concern over the dented health care which is being witnessed due to prolonged NHM strike who have been raising their demands.
DAK in a communiqué issued to KNS stressed Govt. not to waste further more time and move ahead in a positive direction after the assurances delivered by Minister for Health & Medical Education Bali Bhagat in current assembly session. There has been a limit of extrapolating the regular health staff and that limit has already been crossed. Health Care Services is under threat now as its beyond human capacity to work that too especially for female health personnel.
DAK urges Government to frame a high level committee and hold meaningful dialogue with striking NHM employees to diffuse crisis in the interest of administration & patient care.DAK is optimistic that the Govt. will resolve the genuine issues of NHM employees at the earliest so that NHM employees resume their duties with honour.
