Srinagar, Dec 14 (KNS): Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Friday condoled the demise of Rehti Begum mother of Editor-in-Chief of Kashmir Reader Haji Hayat Mohammad Bhat.
She breathed her last yesterday at her residence in Pampore after a brief illness. She was 80.
Expressing profound grief over the death, DAK President Dr Nisar ul Hassan described the deceased as a noble soul who always stood a helping hand to the needy and poor. She was compassionate, kind hearted and a noble soul. Because of her generosity, she was popularly known as Amma Ji in her neighborhood. She will be sorely remembered by everyone whose lives she touched.
While sympathizing with the family, Dr Nisar expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to withstand the irreparable loss. (KNS)
