Appeals Govt to allot examination for NEET students in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 19 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Friday termed the suspension of cross LOC trade as ‘unfortunate’.

“Cross LOC trade was not only confined to business but people from the either sides were meeting each other, therefore ordering such a decision was unfortunate,” he said as per a statement issued to KNS.

He added that such a decision will also led to huge losses to the people affiliated with the cross LOC trade.

Moreover, Mir appealed government to allot a centre for the NEET aspirants in the Valley. “The students are once again being forced to face hardships to appear in the examinations. The government must take steps to allot a centre for Kashmiris NEET students in the Valley,” he said. (KNS)
