Srinagar, April 23 (KNS): Sitting MLA of CPI(M) from Himachal Pradesh Rakesh Singh on Thursday lambasted on Modi led BJP government at centre and alleged the central government is trying to run nation on communal lines which is unacceptable He said almost twenty-five thousand labourer are stranded in parts of HP who are running empty due to lockdown.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Singh said that the central government is incompetent to deal with affairs in the country and added that India has not been created on the basis of religion.
He said BJP government at centre want to run this country on those lines rejected by masses. "PM Modi and HM Amit Shah has pushed the country into quagmire of uncertainty where people of all faiths have been pushed to darkness", Singh said.
He lambasted upon BJP government and said it is unfortunate that those who are potraying themselves as "patriotic" were actually assisting British rule over India.
Singh added that people of the country should work for peace and prosperity together but it is possible only when communal forces is thrown out of power.
CPI(M) leader said in parts of Himachal Pradesh there is almost twenty-five Kashmiri laborers stranded since lockdown was enforced. " Kashmir based laborers are facing acute hardships in wake of lockdown They are running empty having no ration and other food stuff. Also 37 degree day temperature has made their condition miserable", he said.
He appealed HP government to arrange special busses for their return to Valley as holy month of Ramadhan is approaching.

He said I communicated the hardships of Kashmir based laborers to HP Cheif Minister and fortunately he took up the same with J&K administration for early redressal. (KNS)
