Committed to safeguard genuine, legal interests of community: Lecturers Forum

Srinagar, Jul 23 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers Forum (JKLF), an amalgam of all the lecturers executing their duties at senior secondary level, Tuesday said that it is committed to its mission to render the services to its ultimate for the upliftment, dignity and honour of the community.

“The resolution of all outstanding issues, the fraternity is confronted with, is the aim the Forum marches on. It craves and believes that the unity is the invaluable tool to accomplish our goal,” Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers Forum spokesperson Mir Fayaz said in a statement issued to KNS.

“Everyone, irrespective of any category, forms the integral and inseparable part of this organisation” is what its constitution guarantees. It reaffirms its commitment to safeguard the genuine and legal interests of its entire folk without any compromise and stick to its promise to fight with all its force against anyone who within or outside the organisation tries to harm our career progression,” he said.

He added that at this juncture, when the rights are getting snatched, brazen injustice against lecturer community looks to have no end, “our legitimate demands like ACP, confirmation of In-charge officers or maintenance of proportional strength of Senior Lecturers are being shelved without any reason, it has become inevitable to have in place a coordinated and comprehensive plan of action to have our demands fulfilled. Before this move, Jammu and Kashmir lecturers forum feels it mandatory to take on board it's every organ.”

“To give boost to our united efforts, consultations are on with those of our colleagues and friends who have some dander, discontentment. We feel comfortable to share that the will has started to trickle, the way will follow,” he said. (KNS)
