‘Despite assurances, Govt fails to fulfill our demands’

Srinagar, Apr 18 (KNS): Clerical Association Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh on Wednesday locked down their offices to mark a protest against the government for failing to fulfill their demands.
The association also staged protest in Raj Bagh here during which the members were seen carrying banners and demanding government to fulfill their demands.
General Secretary of the Association, Ghulam Jeelani Naik told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the government has failed to fulfill the demands of pay anomaly.
“We have been pressing for our demands from past several years but unfortunately nothing has been done in this regard,” Naik said, adding that the government has already fulfilled the demands of pay anomaly of other departments but has pushed them to the walls by ignoring their plights.
He said that they have been assured by the government several times but nothing has been done in this regard.
The protesters appealed government to fulfill their demands. (KNS)
