Charar-I-sharief residents demand up-gradation of health center

Srinagar, July 28 (KNS): Resident of new colony Charar-I-sharief in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday complained that the decades ago old health center has not been upgraded by the health department.
According to the residents the health center is just three kilometres from the main town but there is no any facilities available at the mini hospital leaving the residents of the area to suffer.
The residents of the area told that at that times lakhs of rupees has been spend on the construction of the health building but since then no renovation has been done by the department to this particular sub centre.
The residents have appealed the authorities that to upgrade the health centre in the so that people will not face the problem in the area.
Ghulam Rasool a resident of the area told KNS that the health lacks the basic facilities and they have to travel several kilometres for their checkups.
They have demanded immediate up-gradation of hospital in the area (KNS)
