Speakers say fresh dialogue must be initiated, Indo-Pak must start fresh bonhomie   

Srinagar, Aug 25 (KNS): Centre For Peace and Progress on Saturday organized a day-long seminar on Kashmir titled 'Discussion on Jammu and Kashmir and Indo-Pak relations'.
Senior politicians, civil society members including  noted political analyst and track II diplomat O P Shah, former union minister and senior congress leader Manishankar Ayar, CPI (M) senior leader and MLA Kulgam Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami, PDP senior leader Nizamuddin Bhat, DPN president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir, former union minister Prof Saif-ud-din Soz, Farooq Renzu Shah, Awami National Conference (ANC) senior Vice president Muzaffar Shah, Civil Society members, Lawyers, Doctors and others participated in the seminar, organized at Raj Bagh here.
The speakers while addressing a gathering stressed on better ties between the two neighboring countries including India and Pakistan.
O P Shah said that a fresh dialogue process must be initiated to resolve the Kashmir issue. "Kashmir issue can only be resolved through a dialogue process and that has to be initiated to ensure peace in the State," he added.
Tarigami said that all the stakeholders must be given equal chances. "We should talk to all the stakeholders to end the uncertainty in the State. Dialogue with the people from all the shades can only resolve the Kashmir issue," he added.
Prof Soz while addressing a gathering said that organizing the seminar on Kashmir issue is a good beginning. "I salute the people for organizing the seminar. Such kind of seminars should be held in future as well," he said, besides highlighting the Kashmir issue. (KNS)
