Srinagar, Dec 02 (KNS): In a bid to crack whip against those who sell Gulmrag Gandola tickets in black to the tourists, the government has installed high power beam security cameras all around the Cable Car project which keeps tight vigil over the tourist inflow and the activities of the guides accompanying them.
Managing Director Cable Car Corporation, Shamim Ahmed told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that due to the plethora of the complaints received from various corners about the tourists being sold tickets of the Gondola in black at Tourist resort Gulmarg, the corporation decided to install High –Tech wireless Pan Tilted Zoom cameras that rotate 360 degrees around all the vital spots of Gulmarg Gondola. “During the peak season, the complaints used to pour in about the tourists given tickets in black at exuberant rates. Now, with the help of these cameras, we can monitor the activities going around the cable car from any part of the world.
