Srinagar, Sep 24 (KNS): CRPF 96 battalion started a mega campaign under ‘Swachta hi Sewa Hai’ from Mattan headquarters, today.
Commanding officer, Amit Kumar in presence of Deputy Commandant, Madam Neelam, Assistant commandants, Vivek Ji, Satish JI and hundreds of CRPF Jawans inaugurated the mega campaign from. Primary health Centre Mattan, First of all the surroundings of the hospital vicinity were cleaned and sweeped. Wards of the hospital were also sweeped and these efforts of jawans of 96 battalion were hailed.
Surroundings of religious places like Martand mandir, Gurdawara Mattan and Shahi Hamdan (ra) Park.
Remember this is for the first time Crpf 96 battalion took the initiative of making this campaign successful.
Locals, media persons and doctors also participated in the campaign.
Commanding officer, Amit Kumar while talking to media said we want to appeal our Jawans and locals of the area to participate in this program so that our surroundings will be cleaned for the future generations. He appreciated his officers for their best efforts in winning the public trust. (KNS)
