Aggrieved teachers seek intervention of Guv, Advisor (G) for their repatriation to deployed places

Srinagar, Jul 12 (KNS): Amid denial that the education department has detached teachers deployed in various schools, the chief education officers in several districts of Kashmir valley have relieved teachers and asked them to report at their original places of posting. Now after the clarification by the Secretary School Education Department, the chief education officers are refusing to bring back teachers after relieving them in haste.
A legion of aggrieved teachers on conditions of anonymity told KNS “after the issuance of the detachment orders from the directorate of school education, the chief education officers of Srinagar and Budgam districts detached many teachers and after clarification by the secretary school education department, the concerned chief education officers are refusing to take back the teachers relieved by them in haste after the detachment orders were issued.”
They said teachers relieved in haste after issuance of detachment orders also include those who were deployed on health certificates issued by medical boards, marriage grounds authenticated by valid court documents and security grounds authenticated by certificates from the police department. The aggrieved teachers sought the intervention of Governor N N Vohra and advisor Khursheed Ahmad Ganaie for their immediate repatriation to schools where they were deployed. (KNS)
