Srinagar, Nov 12 (KNS): In a bid to boost the sports activities in the state and to search the talent in the discipline of basketball, more than 150 aspiring players participated in the 3*3 championship that concluded today at Indoor Sports Stadium Srinagar.
“Last time, more than 100 participated and today we got overwhelming response for the game,” said basketball coach Mir Mursaleen, in a statement issued to KNS.
The tournament cum championship concluded today in which different age categories of both boys and girls participated.
Meanwhile, on the closing ceremony, Prof Bashir was the Chief guest on the occasion. Other dignitaries include Dr Zeenat, Sheikh tulal, Mushtaq Zargar and members of the district association were present on the occasion.
Trophies and medals were given to the winners and runner ups as a mark of appreciation. (KNS)
