Azad expresses grief over tragic fire incident in Doda

New Delhi, Jan 12 (KNS): The Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad today expressed grief over damaged to the properties due to massive fire that engulfed more than half a dozen shops in Kahara area of District Doda.
“My all sympathies are with the affected families and instructed the divisional & district administration to provide immediate help and support to all those affected due the devastating blaze,” Azad said in a statement to KNS.
Ghulam Nabi Azad also demanded immediate provisions for fire-fighting equipments for areas like Kahara, Gawari, Bathri, Malikpora, Gandoh and Bhatyas and said had there been facilities available destruction would have been restricted.
Vice President JKPCC and Former MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Former MLA Bhaderwah, Mohammad Sharief Niaz, Former MLA Doda, Abdul Majeed Wani, MLC, Naresh Kumar Gupta, President DCC Doda, Sheikh Mujeeb, Senior Congress leader from Doda, Mohd Aslam Goni, Sharik Saroori have also expressed deep sorrow over the huge loss of property in the tragic fire incident today at Kahara area of Sub-Division Thathri.
