Lone is the son of National Conference Senior leader and   Member Parliament Mohammad Akbar Lone, and was under continuous detention from last six months after abrogation of Article 370 and today he was booked under Public Safety Act , Hilal is the eighth regional mainstream leader who was booked under the PSA.

 

Public Safety Act allows detention of a person without a trial.

 

Sources told KNS that, Jammu Kashmir Peoples Movement Chief Shah Faisal and five other leaders still remains under detention in MLA hostel Srinagar.

 

Meanwhile reports also said Jammu Kashmir Senior Congress leader Ghulam Mohammad Suroori was summoned by National Investigation Agency (NIA).  (KNS).
