Authorities ruining our career, say candidates

Srinagar, Feb 01 (KNS): The candidates who appeared in the examinations for the post of Junior Assistant Anesthesia are up in arms against the Service Selection Board (SSB) for ‘putting their career at stake’.
A delegation comprising of candidates told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the authorities after listing their names in the selection list for the publicized posts have declared them as ‘ineligible’ candidates.
Talking to KNS, the aspirants said that the SSB had publicized the notification regarding Junior Assistant Anesthesia in December 2015. “We also submitted the form via online while the authorities accepted out forms wherein we had mentioned out qualification. Later, in November 2017, we also got the roll number slips and were allowed to appear in the examinations,” one among aspirant’s who have complete Anesthesia technology degree said.
He said that following the examinations they (scores of aspirants accompanying him) were shortlisted.
However, he said that SSB asked them to bring their documents along on Jan 29, 2018 for verification where the candidates according to them were told that they are ‘ineligible’ for the said post.
The aspirants told KNS that the SSB is ruining their career by declaring them as ‘ineligible’ candidates.
They later appealed to the higher authorities including the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and resolve their issue at an earliest. (KNS)
