Srinagar, Sep 20 (KNS): Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul today reviewed preparations of the party for the upcoming Panchayat and urban local body (ULB) elections in Kashmir.
Ashok Kaul reviewed the preparations for upcoming elections to Panchayat, Committee, Council and Corporations at a meeting attended by senior leaders at Srinagar.
During the meeting State General Secretary & Incharge Kashmir Affairs (MLA) Sunil Sharma said “BJP has a deep concern for the people of J&K and is committed to taking all possible measures to bring accountability and transparency in the system with a renewed focus on good governance and development, the Centre is looking forward to kindle new aspirations and hopes amongst the people of the State.”
State Vice President & Incharge Kashmir affairs (MLC) Sofi Yousif said that BJP is the only party committed for the welfare and development of people in every nook and corner of the country- including Kashmir valley," he said, adding, the party believes in actions and commitment rather than mere political gimmick. He asked party leaders to put up good show in the upcoming local body election.
