Srinagar, Jun 08, (KNS): A 35-year old male breathed his last in CD hospital Srinagar after he tested positive of Covid-19.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a resident of Khanyar locality of Srinagar city had met with an accident few days back and was admitted in SMHS hospital for immediate treatment, however sensing his situation vulnerable, doctors shifted him to CD hospital Srinagar for Covid-19 invstigations.

"The swab samples of the patient was taken for Covid-19 investigation which turned out to be positive. However patient breathed his last today morning", hospital sources said.

This is the second death in Valley since morning. Earlier a CRPF trooper posted in south Kashmir's Anantnag district died in SKIMS. (KNS)
