Srinagar, Nov 25 (KNS): Blaming authorities in Delhi, local government and judiciary for their apathetic and bias approach towards prisoners, Syed Ali Geelani said that these prisoners are meted out with ill treatment and their basic rights denied and trampled. Saturday Geelani said that it is sheer violation of human rights and expressed his deep concern, saying those people in power corridors are ignorant about revolutionary politics, hence can’t feel the pain for those detained by them.

Referring to so-called general amnesty, Geelani said that it is a mere political stunt, drafted in Nagpur headquarters in a bid to label those pursuing freedom movement ,as stone pelters.
Geelani said Indian authorities and their puppets in state feel annoyed and dejected when 2008 to year 2016 people vehemently came on roads, resenting forced occupation and FIR’s were filed against thousands of youth and later a few were released against hefty ransom.
Thousands were arrested and despite court orders were rearrested, said Geelani.
Geelani in his appeal to international organisations for human rights urged to take cognizance of rights violations, saying they should raise their voice for those facing state terror and added that people in state are worst sufferers.
This is the sheer violation of human rights, said Geelani and strongly condemned the detention and slapping PSA on its party assistant secretary general, Mohamad Yusuf Mir.
