Srinagar, Feb 27 (KNS): At a time India and Pakistan have engaged in a war on borders, Kashmiris have yet again came forward with their goodwill gestures.
The hoteliers in Srinagar are offering free stay and food to the tourists who are stuck in Kashmir after the overnight Indo Pak escalation.
“Hotel Kaisar is offering free accommodation and food for every tourist who is stuck in Srinagar in the present situation. Tourists from any state can come and stay with us for free till the situation gets back to normal...please feel free to call us at 9999059079/9868270376. We are with you!,” they said in a facebook post.
Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club Mushtaq Chaya today asked all the stranded tourists to stay in hotels and their stay and food will be taken care of.
“We have a history of hospitality. In this situation, if there are tourists facing financial issues, they can stay in any of our hotels. All hoteliers have been asked to take very care of outsiders,” Chaya told Kashmir News Service (KNS).
Meanwhile, The Kashmir Hotel and Restaurant Association (KHARA) appeals to the tourists who are at present stranded in Srinagar due to the prevailing warlike situation and also due to closure of airports and Highway to contact us so that we may facilitate their accommodation and food till the situation gets back to normal. “Tourists are our guests and we shall open our hearts for them in these trying times,” said Mehboob Mir Jt. Secretary General KHARA. (KNS)
