Srinagar, Feb 16 (KNS): All Jammu and Kashmir National Youth Forum has written to Home Minister to ensure safety of Kashmiris in different parts of India.
A copy of the letter that lies with KNS reads:
With high regards and reverences we are writing to request you for urgent intervention in the aforesaid issue. We request your good self to intervene and take measures for the protection of Kashmiri students and other Kashmiris who are presently in different parts of the country and are being targeted.
Sir, you are no doubt aware of widespread violence created against Kashmiri people in different parts of India after the attack on CRPF vehicles which was condemned by all across the Kashmir valley, as from yesterday, our organisation got hundreds of calls across country from different colleges and universities as few among them are forced to pay Rupees 10 thousand per month for security otherwise they are being asked to leave the hostels.
Recent video which have gone viral on social media has created worst atmosphere all over the country.
We therefore urge you to immediately issue strict instructions to all the DGP’s of the States so that safety of st4dents and other Kashmiri people is ensured. (KNS)
