Srinagar, Sep 18 (KNS): An emergency condolence meeting of All Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers Forum (AJKLF) was convened at Srinagar on Tuesday under the chairmanship of its state President Dr. Manzoor Ahmad, in which condolences were paid to the bereaved families of veteran Trade union leader Nazir Ahmad Khan Sr Lecturer Kupwara, (senior member JK lectures forum) of the untimely demise of his younger brother Firdous Ahmad Khan. Tributes were paid to the departed soul.
In his speech, Dr. Manzoor as per the statement issued to KNS expressed his deep shock over this sudden demise and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
Other speakers who spoke on the occasion also offered their condolences with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, a high level delegation of the Lecturer Forum Kupwara shall be visiting the bereaved family to offer their condolences.
Besides, the core group members, the meeting was attended by the district presidents and central executive members of the forum which includes Bashir Ahmad Mir General Secretary, Sayed fayaz vice president, Mir Fayaz media secretary, Sofi Altaf chief organizer Mushtaq Ahmad, Ali Mohammed Rather, Javid Iqbal, Mushtaq Soporie, Sheikh Nisar, Altaf Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad Koul, Dr.Parvaiz Maqbool, Sajad Ahmad Shah, Abdul Majid Sofi Mohammed Toyoub, and others.
