Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): Lauding the role of Pakistan, senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Saturday said that the Government, people and the entire political leadership of Pakistan have all along backed and extended their support to the political movement of Kashmir.
While expressing his thanks for the support Aga Syed Hasan said it is encouraging that Pakistan has always been striving for the resolution of Kashmir issue as per the wishes and aspirations of people of Jammu Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, Aga Syed Hasan said that it was due to the efforts of government and the people of Pakistan that Kashmir issue has attracted the attention of the international community.
“Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit has assured that Pakistan will continue to support people of Kashmir. It is encouraging,” he said.
While condemning the arrest of separatist leaders including Muhammad Yasin Malik, he demanded their immediate release. He said random arrests and atrocities can’t break the resolve of people of Kashmir. (KNS)
