Handwara, Sep 23 (KNS): Robbers made an unsuccessful bid to loot a bank in Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district last night.
An official said that the security guard of State Bank branch in Handwara raised an alarm after robbers tried to loot the bank.
“He raised an alarm following which Handwara police rushed towards the bank, forcing the robbers to flee,” said the official. (KNS)
