Urges Court to summon Mehbooba Mufti over her recent statement

Srinagar, Jul 16 (KNS): Anti-Terrorist Front of India (ATFI) on Monday filed a sedition case against the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti over her statement wherein she had stated that more Salah-ud-dins and Yasin Maliks will be born in case New Delhi repeats 1987.
The sedition case as per the documents available with Kashmir News Service (KNS) also reveals that the sedition case by the ATFI was also filed against Mehbooba’s another statement wherein she had ‘threatened’ of dire consequences if PDP split by New Delhi.
The documents lying with KNS reads that the ATFI chief and National spokesman of Shree Hindu Takht, Viresh Shandilya filed a petition in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Ambala Pooja Singla through his counsel Advocate Sumit Sharma against Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti.
Shandilya urged the court to summon Mehbooba Mufti for her anti-national statement.
He said that “in case Mehbooba Mufti is not summoned and trailed in related sections of law then a day is not far when off when the country (India will be deprived of J&K and the entire nation would be jeopardize when the terrorist activities increase.”
Later, the CJM Singla has fixed next date of hearing on July 17. (KNS)
