Srinagar, Sep 20 (KNS): Intensive checking carried out on Kupwara Lolab route by ARTO Kupwara on receiving the complaint from inhabitants of Lolab valley regarding overloading, overcharging. 18 number of route permits were retained by checking squad for suspension.
An amount of Rs 8900 was recovered from violators on spot during the checking.
Drivers were directed to charge fare as per new notification issued by transport commissioner J&K. (KNS)
