Srinagar, Jun 19 (KNS): The 55th foundation day of Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) will be now observed on June 22, instead of June 20, wherein AAC patron and APHC chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will preside over a function at AAC headquarters at Rajouri Kadal during which various speakers will shed light on the journey of AAC over the past over 50 years, contributions by the leaders and activists, besides highlighting the steadfastness and commitment of the party workers, will be highlight.
AAC said that the sacrifices offered by the leadership and workers of AAC since its inception will be written with the golden words in the history of Kashmir’s sacred struggle for right to self determination.
In a statement issued to KNS, the AAC spokesman said that the organisation will continue to work with full zest and zeal towards achieving the final goal for which party’s leadership and workers sacrificed their lives and that the existing set up of the organisation will continue to remain steadfast to ensure the realization of final goal.
