4 injured in North Kashmir Mishap

Kupwara, August 16 (KNS): Atleast, four persons on Sunday sustained injuries after the vehicle in which they were traveling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge in frontier district of north Kashmir.

According to reports, the accident took place on Kupwara-Tangdar road at Bagi top when a commercial vehicle without number plate fell down into deep gorge resulting injuries to four persons.

A police officer giving more details about this road mishap said, four persons were injured whom officer identified as Mohammad Shafi Bajad son of Sayena Bajad (37), Jabeena Begum wife of Mohammadd Shafi Bajad (35) by profession lady Constable posted at IRP 4th Battalion wayen , Rouif Ahmad Dar son of Gulzar Dar (27) and Nazel Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar (23) all residents of Panzgam. The officer said all injured were taken to SDH Kralpora where from medical team referred them district hospital Handwara for advanced treatment.

The officer further said that police took cognizance of this road mishap.(KNS)
