Sopore, Oct 03 (KNS): A 37 year old Engineer was killed after hit by an unknown vehicle in Choora area of apple town Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this evening.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said a biker was killed when he was hit by an unknown vehicle and was immediately moved to Sub District Hospital Sopore in critical condition, where doctors declare him brought dead on his arrival.
The deceased has been identified as iqbal Qasim Son of Abdul Ahad Beigh resident of Duroo sopore.
A police officer also confirmed the death of Iqbal Qasim and said the driver along with the vehicle has managed to flee from the spot following which search has been launched.
However he said case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been taken up, (KNS)
