Baramulla, April 04 (KNS): 28 shops were damaged in an overnight blaze in main market of babareshi area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday night.

Sources told news agency KNS that fire broke out on late Sunday night and immediately fire tenders, police and locals rushed to the spot to douse off the flames, however, massive fire gutted the shops. 

Meanwhile SDPO Tangmarg Hilal Bhat Told news agency KNS that they have reached the spot and are very much active in putting out the fire and police have registered a case in this regard.

An official said that the 28 shops gutted in this massive fire and the cause of fire was not known immediately. "Further investigation has been taken up," he said. (KNS)
