Handwara, 18 june(KNS): 17 INF brigade of the army on Friday distributed food items among poor and needy families at Nowgam Handwara while marinating proper social distancing.
According to KNS correspondent, the army under Civic action programme distributed food items include, rice, cereals oil, and other food items among more than 60 families including widows, poor and needy families in villages of Lawoosa, Nowgam and Chak.
People of the area hailed the efforts of the Indian army for helping the poor in difficult times the army have also distributed cash and food items among the locals on the eve of Eidul Fitur (KNS)
