 Gurez, Mar 9: (KNS) Authorities on Wednesday found 14 teachers absent from duties in many Government Schools of Gurez in Bandipora district.
DC Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad told KNS that special team formed to check attendance in Govt Schools inspected Boys Middle School Markoot, Boys Middle School Mastan, Girls Middle School Wanpora and Boys Middle School Badwan & Higher Secondary of Tehsil Gurez today. 
“14 teachers were found absent from their duties. Salary will be held until they will not resume duties and the stern against will be taken against the employees especially of education department .He also told that those teachers who are in Bandipora will be sent to Gurez through air sorties after weather improves,” he told KNS.
