Srinagar October 28:(KNS) Srinagar Police continuing its drive against social evils, Police Party of PS Rainawari arrested 07 gamblers near Gondola with a recovery of Rs 82,300/= as stake money and playing cards from their possession.

In this regard FIR no. 51/2020 U/S 13 Gambling Act has been registered at PS Rainawari and investigation set into motion. The below mentioned gamblers have been arrested namely, Basharat Hussain Sheikh S/o Wali Mohammad R/o Miya Shah Sahib Rainawari Chowk, Tariq Ahmad Khan, S/o Late Abdul Aziz R/o Omar Colony Lal bazaar, Manzoor Ahmad, S/o Ghulam Hassan R/o Hyderpora Peebagh .Mohammad Maqbool Malik S/o Ghulam Nabi R/o Kathdarwaza Rainawari , .Mohammad Saleem Nakash
S/o Ghulam Mohammad R/o Jawaher Nager, Asif Ahmad Bhat
S/o Abdul Majeed, R/o HMT OmarAbad, Mushtaq Ahmad Mugray
S/o Ali Mohammad
R/o Zindshah Rainawari A/p Naseembagh Sgr.
