'We The Human' come to rescue of 87 families in distress, today, at Phallan Mandal and other areas


Srinagar, April 167 (KNS): The Jammu team of "We The Human Forum for Nature and Mankind" comprising S. Ajab Singh, S. Sukhdev Singh & S. Malkiyat Singh, in coordination with Jammu District Police and Mrs Pooja Gupta, the leading women entrepreneur of J&K, owner of Himalayan Bio Organic Pvt Ltd having the “ NIMBARK” household brand name, a subsidiary of Sarveshwar Foods Ltd (J&K's leading rice exporters and manufacturer), leading rice exporters Sarveshwar Rice, today, distributed free ration to 35 families in distress at Phallan Mandal Jammu, 40 families at Upper Beli Charana. The families, at Phallan Mandal, were identified by the office of SSP Jammu Sridhar Patil IPS. Sub Inspector Anil Sharma Incharge Police Post Phallan Mandal, alongwith his team, was also present on the occasion. And, the families at Beli Charana were identified by local social activists Seema Parihar and S Ajab Singh.
Retd Principal District & Session Judge K Y S Manhas Chairman of the public charitable trust extended gratitude to the donor members of the trust and the Sarveshwar Group, who taking this Pandemic as a signal from the Almighty, have come together to help the poor people in distress. K Y S Manhas assured full support, on behalf of the trust, to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lt Governor G C Murmu in this catastrophic situation.
Pooja Gupta on behalf of NIMBARK and Sarveshwar Foods extended gratitude to the trust and assured full support to the poor people stuck up within their houses or hutments due to present lockdown which is extended till 3rd of May 2020. She exhorted people to stay inside their houses and be part of the war waged by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India free of COVID19, the statement issued to KNS said (KNS)
