BMO says due maintenance in hospital patients facing problems

 

 

Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS):  The patients and attendants of Sub district hospital on Monday alleged that the sub district hospital Kupwara in north Kashmir is deprived of basic facilities patients and attendants said the water has entered in the hospital and the concern department is unmoved.

They alleged the hospital is not having the proper electricity supply especially out Patient Department (OPD) patients and attendants are suffering huge inconvenience in this harsh winter.

They said in this sub district hospital most of the patients came for far-flung areas for treatment but in absence of these  things they face problems, the patients said they have to travel long to reach the hospital but the conditions of the hospital is worse as the  OPD building is full with the water. due to leakage of the water  pipeline in the hospital.

 Patients  alleged that the hospital lacks the proper heating system only few gas heaters has installed in the hospital in this bone chilling cold and these gas heaters are not enough for the large number of patients.

Another patient from Kupwara said the water has entered in the hospital and the elderly men and children are able to walk over the water the authorities should immediately clear the water in the hospital so that the patients and other people will not suffer. 

The Patients said in absence of the no proper light in the hospital they face problems to walk on the hospital especially during evening hours and the most of the pipeline in the hospital are having leakage.

A patient from Kukroosa told KNS that the dialysis system has been installed in the hospital few days back but they are still doing the same manually instead of doing through the Analyzer which is less time consuming.

Block Medical officer Kupwara Dr. Zaffer said there was leakage on the water pipe line in the hospital and the work is going on it and soon it will be cleared, asked about no light problems in the hospital he said the maintenance work is hospital is going on and in few days the work will be completed and then nobody will face the problems. (KNS)
