“The responsibility of the administration has increased in the absence of an elected government. It is, therefore, your duty to provide clean, efficient and be acceptable to the people,” the Governor said, while speaking to the senior officers of the government.
“It is our duty to plug all the loopholes and resolve all problems on time-bound bases,” he said, adding, “people have high expectations and we should not let them down. We must show better performance on all fronts”.

The Governor directed the heads of various departments to work tirelessly for the welfare of the state.
“Services to people are to be improved on a priority basis. I do not need to tell and I do not want to tell you. What I need is better results on the ground from all of you,” he said.
He said that concrete steps should be taken by the administration regarding the effective redressal of grievances.
The Governor also desired that accountability should be fixed at all levels to ensure that the problems of the people are solved in a time-bound manner.
